Margaret Campbell Farr
Margaret A. Campbell Farr, 75, of Topeka, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Midland Hospice House, Topeka.
She was born October 26, 1942, in Greenock, Scotland, the daughter of Archibald and Roberta (MacKenzie) Campbell.
Margaret was an avid bowler in the Topeka women's bowling association, a youth coach and was inducted into the USBC WBA Hall of Fame. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and organizing events for the family. Before getting sick she would spend all the summers out in her flower gardens.
Margaret married William L. Farr.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Farr; daughters: Heather A. (James) Campbell, Tracey P. (Gary) Creollo, and Lesley E. Moss; and grandchildren: Caleb Campbell, Seth Campbell, William Campbell, Amber Creollo, MaKayla Creollo, Aspen Moss, Kayleen Moss, Hannah Franzen, Hayden Franzen, and Jayden Franzen.
A Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow in Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka . Margaret will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
