Margaret O. Covert, 85, Topeka, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, in Topeka.
Mrs. Covert was a meat wrapper for Sutton's Grocery for several years.
She was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Gretna, Neb., to Harve and Ethel Ora Boob Addleman.
Mrs. Covert was a member of the Church of Christ at Highland Park.
She married Raymond B. Covert on Dec. 31, 1937, in Topeka. He died Jan. 30, 1988. A son, Oren L. Covert, died April 6, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Hamlin, Belton, Mo., and Jeannette Byerley, Chattanooga, Tenn.; a son, William Covert, Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Covert will lie in state at Parker-Price Mortuary after 3 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
