Margaret Boyd

Margaret L. Boyd, 96, of Topeka, formerly of Ft. Worth, Texas, passed away, Friday, August 1, 2008.

Margaret was born January 6, 1912 in Chilton, Texas the daughter of Wiley and Mamie Martin.

Margaret married Cecil Roe Boyd January 28, 1933 in Chilton, TX. He preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors include, her children, Martin (Ann) Boyd; Barbara Northcutt; her brother, Hershel "Jack" Martin; her grandchildren, Donna (Bruce) Havens; Pamela Buckhalter; Michael (Tabitha) Boyd; Melanie (Jason) Randolph; Melissa Boyd; and eleven great grandchildren.

Margaret will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, 8/5/2008 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, 8/6/2008 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Ft. Worth Texas. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Cr., Topeka, 66606.
