Mabel E. Foster, 79, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at her home.
She was born December 22, 1932 in Irving, KS, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie (Blass) Walker.
Mrs. Foster was a member of Willard Baptist Church.
Mabel married Delbert E. Foster on January 7, 1960 in Miami, OK. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2001. Survivors include three children, Richard Oller, Sheila Guyle and Victoria Foster-Ayers, all of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marian Busey, Blue Rapids, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy Morelli, and three brothers.
The family will gather at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, to go in procession to the Valencia Cemetery, Topeka where a graveside service will take place. Mabel will lie in state after 3 p.m., Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
