OBITUARY: Mrs. Mary "Joyce" Cain
Mrs. Mary Joyce Cain, 69, Topeka, died Mon., Oct. 8, 2007, at Midland Hospice House. She was born Aug. 16, 1938, at Paola.
Joyce had worked at Gage Bowls and Regency Park Apartment Complex. She was a member of the Topeka Women's Bowling Assoc.
She was married to Richard Lyle Cain, who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1990.
Surviving are a daughter: Kendra Riddle of Topeka; a son: Kirby Cain of Topeka; 2 sisters: Lova Brondell of Van Nuys, CA, and Deen Evinger of Raytown, MO; and a grandson: Justin Benoit of Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thurs., Oct. 11, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, Topeka. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Joyce will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
