Louise Edith Ruterbories

Louise Edith Ruterbories, age 90, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born August 9, 1927 in Rolla, Missouri the daughter of Walter and Louella Lewis Underwood. Louise graduated from Barstow High School in California. She also attended Wayne State College in Nebraska where she received a teaching certificate. She was married to Arvid Belgum from 1947 – 1962. She was married to Caryl Ruterbories from 1970 – 1991. Louise taught school in one-room country schools throughout Nebraska for 10 years. She worked for the State of Nebraska in the Welfare Social Office at Neligh, Nebraska for over 18 years. She is survived by a son, Bruce (Marsha) Belgum of Omaha, Nebraska; a daughter, Lynda Pollman of Topeka; a sister, Frieda (Nolen) Gines of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren and nine great grand children.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Midland Hospice House and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
