OZAWKIE Lorraine Lori Ann Wellman, 39, Ozawkie, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Midland Hospice in Topeka. She was born Dec. 27, 1964, in Topeka, to Jerry and Vicki Burghart. She was a lifelong Topeka resident. Mrs. Wellman was a processing department assistant supervisor with Burrell-Luce Press Clippings for more than 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Meriden. She married Jay A. Wellman on Aug. 30, 1997. He survives at home. Other survivors include her parents, Jerry and Vicki Burghart; a sister, Karen Garles, Topeka; a brother, Jerry L. Burghart Jr., Hoyt; a stepson, Kyler Wellman; and a stepdaughter, Meaghan Wellman. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in Topeka. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Gardens west of Topeka. Mrs. Wellman will lie in state after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p. m.
