Lola Mae Jack, 62, of Springfield,MO formerly of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
She was born February 22, 1949 in Hillsboro, KS, the daughter of Henry Andrew and Matilda Elizabeth (Kasper) Foth.
Lola was employed by KNI for 20 years in Topeka and for the Maranatha Nursing Home, Springfield, before retiring due to her struggle with cervical cancer.
Lola married George Harold Jack on November 1, 1980 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2008. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer (Shawn) Emery, Olathe, KS; 2 grandchildren, Destiny and Brendon Emery; her mother, Matilda Foth, Hillsboro, KS and 3 brothers, Cliff, Leroy and Gary Foth.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Janice Humphries and a brother, Marvin Foth.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Interment will follow at Half-Day Cemetery, Elmont, KS. Mrs. Jack will lie in state after 3 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd, Topeka, KS 66604.
