OBITUARY: Mrs. Lois Ann McGuire
Lois Ann McGuire, 65, Topeka, died Wed., Oct. 25, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Queens, NY, the daughter of Warren H. and Hazel A. (Schwab) Anderson.
Lois was married to Paul B. McGuire on Dec. 19, 1959, at Las Vegas, NV. They lived most of their married lives in various cities in California moving to Topeka, in 1994.
She had operated her own secretarial service in Dana Point, CA. Lois was a member of the Lutheran Church; and the United States Power Squadron in Dana Point, CA and had served as its auxillary President. She supported her husband, Paul, in all of his endeavors and organizations. Outside of her family her greatest love was going to the casinos.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Paul, are a daughter: Lori Turner of Vancouver, WA; a son: Scott McGuire of Holton; 5 grandchildren: Andrew McGuire of Boise, ID, Erin McGuire of Olympia, WA, Alyssa McGuire of Maui, HI, Megan Turner of Mission Viejo, CA, and Derek Turner of San Luis Obispo, CA; and her mother-in-law: Thelma McGuire of Topeka.
