Lois Ann Brandenburgh
Lois Ann Brandenburgh, 81, Topeka, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born May 1, 1932, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Loren and Leota (Baker) Hall.
She worked for Chip Carriers and the State of Kansas, Department of Revenue.
Lois was married to George R. Brandenburgh. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Jack Simons.
Surviving are a daughter: Christine Simons (Craig Riggles); three grandchildren: Robbie Crumpler, Scott Simons (Alyson Holt), and Stephen Simons all of Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue. Interment in Rochester Cemetery. Lois will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
