LoeAnn Allen, 67, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2005.
She was born July 6, 1938 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Ann Jelnick Cleland.
LoeAnn was best know for her Silk flowers, and owned and operated LoeAnn's Silk Flowers in downtown Topeka.
LoeAnn married Wendell C. Allen on May 12, 1964 in Topeka. He died October 10, 1998.
Survivors include three daughters; Vicki Johnson, Melody Jones and Angie Bolze; a son, Kenneth Allen, all of Topeka, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bert Miller.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Mortuary in North Topeka. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Garden. Mrs. Allen will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 28, 2005 and visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. .
