Lloyd Newton Grahem, 85, of Meriden, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home. He was born September 18, 1927 on the homestead near Arrington, Kansas the son of Newton F. Grahem and Dora (Hamon) Grahem.
Lloyd married Anita Scarlett on April 25, 1953 in Valley Falls. His parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Anita Grahem, 4 children Susan (Phil) Morrell, Topeka, Cecil (Colette) Grahem, Meriden, Denis (Patti) Grahem, Udall, Penny (Terry) Guy, Topeka, 8 grandchildren Aubrey Rosenbaum, Jerricho (Natasha) Grahem, Travis (Amber) Grahem, Amber (Rhys) Darveaux, Michelle (Josh) Mosqueda, Michael (Rochelle) Grahem, Jared Guy, Nicholas Guy, 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Opal McDowall, Littleton, CO.
Celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66608. Interment of his cremated remains will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery at a later date.
