Linda Sullivan (Reams), 72, of Topeka, KS, went to her Heavenly home on April 19, 2021 after a short bout with Leukemia.
She is the daughter of the late Russell Reams & Myrtle Reams (Barnum). Linda was born April 8, 1949 in Ottawa, KS.
She is a graduate of Melvern (Melvern, KS) High Class of 1967 and attended Allen Community College (Iola, KS).
She worked as a manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield in the late 60's and early 70's and retired from Walt's Auto Body Carstar after 30 years of service.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sibling, aunt and friend to many. Her life centered around her husband and her kids, and later in life around her beloved grandchildren. She was her children's biggest cheerleader in sports and school, and that carried over to her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading and working on family genealogy as hobbies as well as knitting and cross stitch. She loved to tend to her flowers and plants and especially loved her flower bed of Iris. She was an excellent cook and hosted many family and friends around her dinner table. She enjoyed playing with her grand dog Lorelei, spoiling her with treats.
Linda was married to the love of her life, Reuben Sullivan on December 6, 1969 in Topeka, KS, and they enjoyed 51 years together. She was always found by his side.
Survivors include her husband Reuben of the home; a daughter Ginger Sullivan (Topeka, KS); a son Bryan Sullivan and his wife Brooke (Lee's Summit, MO); a bonus son Chris Sullivan and his wife Shelly (Topeka, KS); as well as her grandchildren, Kahlan and Rowan Sullivan and Alex and Eric Sullivan. She is also survived by her sisters: Norma Esmay (Lake Havasu City, AZ) and Judy Patteson (Copan, OK); her brothers: Bill Reams (Rosie) (Goddard, KS) and Terry Reams (Marie) (Kimberling City, MO); as well as numerous brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Myrtle Reams, and three sisters: Donna Reams, Betty Teegarden, and Delma Kern.
Linda will lie in state Friday, April 23, 2021 at Parker Price Funeral Home from Noon until 7:00 pm. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Parker Price Funeral Home 10:00 am followed by interment at Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Everest Military Park and Honor Garden and sent in care of Union State Bank of Everest in Everest, Kansas.
