Linda J. (Faulk) McDonald passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 after a three year battle with cancer. She was born on September 29, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas, the youngest child of Delbert E. Faulk, Sr. and Marie (Jacobs) Faulk.
Linda grew up on a farm near Keene, Kansas and attended Keene Methodist Church. She attended Dover Schools, graduating in the Dover High School Class of 1966. She lived and raised two daughters, Shelly and Stephanie in Topeka.
She married Kenneth L. McDonald on December 24, 1987 in Topeka, Kansas. Together they owned and operated the Topeka staple, Chic A Dee Cafe, serving the final meal on December 31, 2022.
Linda is a past Worthy Matron of Helena Chapter #210 Order of the Eastern Star and a past Bethel Guardian of Job's Daughters, Bethel #58 of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, brother, Delbert Faulk Jr.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband, Ken and her daughters, Michelle Andrews and Stephanie Leary and her husband Steve; grandson, Stefan Andrews; granddaughters, Morgan Andrews and Jenna Brunkow; great-grandson, Roman Andrews; sister, Nadine Kelly; brother, Willis Faulk and many nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Parker-Price & Davidson, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
