Linda Lee Trow Tucker, 65, Topeka, died Wed., March 28, 2012, at the Univ. of Kansas Med Center.
She was born March 27, 1947, in Salina, the daughter of Vearl E. and Agnes E. (Nelson) Trow. Linda graduated from Bennington High School and Asbury School of Nursing. She was an oncology nurse at Cotton-O'Neil Cancer Center. She was a member of the ONS, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Church Card Club, and the Church Book Club.
Surviving are two daughters: Gina Easum of Topeka and Darci Scheele (Jeff) of Salina; a sister: Pauline Brungardt of K.C., MO; and four granddaughters: Marissa Scheele, Brittany Scheele, Torrie Easum, and Brooke Easum.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM, Mon., April 2, 2012, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 2021 SW 29th Street, Topeka. Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM, Crown Point Cemetery, North 130th Road, Ottawa County. Linda will lie in state after 2:00 PM, Sun., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
