Linda Flinner, 74, of Lansing, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018.
She was born June 5, 1944, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Louis and Lois (Johnston) Jordan. Linda attended Topeka High School.
She was a member of WestSide Christian Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 4319, where she served as past State President.
Linda married Ronald E. Flinner on June 23, 1962 in WestSide Christian Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2012. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff and Pat Jordan and one sister, Sherry A. Troxel.
Survivors include two children, Ronald Flinner, Jr. and his wife, Tressa and Tamara L. Harris, all of Lansing, Kansas; five brothers, Buddy John (Karen) Shirley, Randy (Brenda) Jordan, Mike (Carol) Jordan, Duane (Virginia) Jordan and Galen Howard (Missy) Jordan; one sister, Jennifer G. (Carl) Reeves; four grandchildren, Nichole Flinner, Chris (Jessi) Harris, Chelsea Harris and Nick (Katrina) Flinner and one great-grandchild, Colton.
Linda loved camping, traveling, and going on cruises. She was an avid bingo and card player and loved to bowl and dance. She had a passion for crocheting, filling out words puzzles and reading. She treasured her family more than anything.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka. Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, in Topeka. Linda will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
