Linda Kay Flagler
Linda Kay Flagler, 74, Topeka, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at her home. She was born October 10, 1942, in Columbus, KS, the daughter of Roger E. and Francis (Serra) Simon.
Linda moved to Topeka after graduating from Chanute High School in 1960. She worked for Frito-Lay, New England Life Insurance and Columbian Title Company. She and her husband had owned and operated Select Auto Sales.
On September 25, 1982, Linda was married to Larry Duane Flagler in Topeka. "Though I grew up an only child, family has always been most important to me. We have been so blessed to have a wonderful family. Our son and daughters are full of love, strength and independence and raising their children to be the same."
Surviving are her husband: Larry Flagler of the home; five children: Shawn Mahoney (Patrick) of Olathe, Dona Anderegg of Meriden, Shannon Bruggen (Joel) of Winston-Salem, NC, Danny Anderegg (Deanna) of Tecumseh, and Erin Woodall (Richard) of Olathe; eight grandchildren: Erin Tarwater (Levi), Mercedes Suppes (Kory), Dakota Anderegg, Ellie Bruggen, Ben Bruggen, Stella Woodall, Johnny Woodall, and Bo Woodall; and five great-grandchildren: Abrahm, Adelynn, Josiah, Isaiah and Katie Tarwater.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 4, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private interment of cremains will be in Rochester Cemetery.
