Linda Lou Davis

Linda Lou Davis, age 71, of Topeka, was called home to Heaven Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka. Linda was born March 3, 1948 in Wetmore, Kansas the daughter of Hugo and Josephine (Wade) Shockey. She graduated from Highland Park High School. She married Dennis Davis, they later divorced. Linda graduated from Kaw Valley Technical School and worked as an LPN for various nursing homes in Topeka. She retired when working at the Topeka V.A. Hospital. Linda had attended the Light of the World Worship Center in Topeka.  She is survived by a son, Daryl Davis of Topeka; a daughter, Diana (Randy) Schmidt of Topeka; a brother, George Thompson of Lee’s Summit, MO; a sister, Carol Johnson of Auburn, KS; a granddaughter, Ashley Davis and two great grandchildren, Harley and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pauline Thornburgh and an infant great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
