Lila Mae Janosik

Lila Mae Janosik, 68, Topeka, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Midland Hospice. She was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Tecumseh, Neb., the daughter of Wilson Leroy and Lila Vina Walker Ratliff. Mrs. Janosik was a member of Light of the World Christian Center. She married Albert E. Janosik on June 9, 1955, in Topeka. He died June 13, 2003. Mrs. Janosik also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Teresa Janosik, and a brother, Dale Ratliff. Survivors include two sons, Gregory A. Janosik and Bryan L. Janosik, both of Topeka; three daughters, Brenda L. Glenn, Topeka, Pamela Peoples, Pensacola, Fla., and Tracy Daves, Imperial, Mo.; three brothers, Willard Johansen, Oliver Johansen and Floyd Johansen, all of Friend, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Parker-Price Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Janosik will lie in state after 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 S.W.
