Leveta L. "Pete" Moore, 87, Topeka, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center. She was born April 22, 1917 in Republic City, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Edna Barnes Price.
Mrs. Moore was a member of North Topeka Wesleyan Church. She lived in Eskridge before moving to Topeka.
She married Dean M. Moore Feb. 15, 1936 in Topeka. He died May 13, 1994.
Survivors include, a Daughter, Lavon "Kitty" Craver, Auburn; a son John J. Moore, Auburn; one brother, Jack Price, Eskridge; three sisters, Leona Holly, Edna Carey, and Maxine Hogan, all of Topeka; seven grandchildren, Lonnie Moore, Rossville, Megan and Trevor Moore, Auburn; Bud Craver, McPherson; Dean Craver, Emporia; Kevin Craver, Gypsum; Matthew Craver, Alma; and eight great grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Edna Price, three brothers, Charles Price, Raymond Price, and Billy Price; three sisters, Peggy Price, Bonnie Buschbom and Laverne Hillebert.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment will be in Eskridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
