Letha Mae Scarbrough

Letha Mae Scarbrough, age 89, of Topeka passed away Thursday evening, March 11, 2021 at Topeka Center in Topeka.  Letha was born April 6, 1931 in Tecumseh, KS the daughter of David and Eva (Flintham) Schwemmer.  She graduated from Dover High School in 1950.

She worked at Econo Clad in Topeka.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Aily Scarbrough and Douglas Scarbrough; three sisters, Virginia Luce, Betty Morris and Darlene Greenwell and her brother, Edwin P. Schwemmer.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Suzan Scarbrough;  a  sister, Mary Hockenbarger; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dover Cemetery.  She will lie in state Monday from noon – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com.
