Leroy Arthur Brown

LeRoy Arthur Brown, 78, Carbondale, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

He was born October 29, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Walter and Ida (Abel) Brown.
LeRoy was a roofer with the union, retiring after 22 years.

LeRoy married Janet Faye Kurtz on May 26, 1963 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include her son, Dennis (Brenda) Brown; two brothers, Mike (Barb) Brown; Gary (Shirley) Brown, all of Topeka; three grandchildren, Travis Brown, Dillon Brown and Kaitlyn Brown, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Brown, two sisters, Carol Boten and Pearl Brown and one brother, Larry Brown.

Graveside services will be 1pm Friday, March 8, 2019 at Prairie Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00pm-7:30pm today at Parker-Price Reception Center.
