Leonard "Lenny" Boisvert, 78, formally of Topeka, Kansas passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Ormond Beach, Florida.
He was born October 20, 1940, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Euclide and Hilda (Laboissonniere) Boisvert.
Leonard retired as a Captain with the Topeka Fire Department #32128. He serviced in the United States Air Force. He was a man that enjoyed music, watching Jeopardy and loved to relax.
Leonard married Sharon, she preceded him in death in 1997. He later married Evelyn Christopher in 2000, she survives. Other survivors include daughter, Denise Mack, son, Eric Boisvert, son, Dennis Boisvert, step-son, Dennis Kapalko, and step-daughter, Susan Farmer; brother, David Boisvert, sister, Therese Messinger, and sister, Dolores Christensen; grandchildren, Heather Mack, Brittany Mack, Adam Kapalko, Michele Kapalko, and Ellen Leonard; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Azalea; step-great-grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Andrew "Andy" Kapalko.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka, KS 66618. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association - Topeka 3625 SW 29th St. Suite 102 Topeka, KS 66614.
