Leo T. Cummings

Leo T. Cummings, 70, of Topeka passed away at KU St. Francis Hospital in Topeka following a heart attack.  Leo was born May 11, 1952 at Holton, Kansas the son of John Cummings and Euna Davis Cummings.   He was raised in Topeka and graduated from Seaman High School.  At Seaman he played football.   He attended Ft. Scott Community College on a football scholarship.   Leo enjoyed fishing, farm ponds were his favorite spots.   He had also enjoyed hunting.   Years ago Leo bowled in a league at Gage Bowl North.   He worked for 40 years at Hill Pet Products.   Leo will be remembered as wonderful husband and grandfather.

He was married to Julie Lane on November 15, 1975 in Topeka.

Survivors include his wife, Julie; children, Regina Waddell (Courtney) of Auburn and Christopher Cummings; grandchildren, Phoenix, Dakota, Cheyenne and Nikita Waddell of Auburn and Madison Cummings of Topeka; siblings John, Mary, Carol, James, Dan, George, Janice, Charlie and Andy.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Donna and his parents, John and Euna.

Cremation is planned.  Leo requested that there be no memorial service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness Society.  www.davidsonfuneral.com
