Lemuel O. Sleep Iii

Lemuel O. Sleep, III, 59, of Valley Falls, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City.   He was born February 13, 1962 the son of Lemuel Sleep, Jr., and Irene Tibbits Sleep at St. Johnsbury, Vermont.   Lemuel moved to Kansas with his family as an infant and spent the remainder of his life in the Topeka area.  He worked at Goodyear.   He lost his eyesight in his thirties.   He enjoyed rock n roll music, was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and his enjoyed going out to eat with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Sleep and her husband Dwayne Allen of Topeka; grandchildren, Aryanna Moran, Anthony Moran, Jr. and Kaliana Simmons; siblings, Mike Sleep, Jim Sleep, Gary Sleep, Sue Arbuthnot, Debra Davidson, Barbara Bradley.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, Sherry Brown, Flori Moore and Bob Sleep, and his parents Lemuel, Jr. and Irene.
