Larry Thomas Russell

Larry Thomas Russell, 78, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born December 9, 1942 in Crawford County the son of Lawrence Thomas Russell and Minnie Marlow Russell. Larry graduated from high school at Weir, Kansas. He moved to Wichita and worked at Boeing Aircraft Company before moving to the Topeka area. He was a machinist by trade. He would work at the Topeka Foundry for over 20 years. He enjoyed gardening and had a huge garden while living down at Scranton. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed Elvis music.
He is survived by a son, Lawrence Thomas Russell of Tecumseh; grandson, Trent Thomas Russell and a great grandson, Jayden Russell.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lance Russell; and a sister, Mary Kay Paige.
