Larry Ralph Brown
Larry Ralph Brown, 63, Topeka, KS, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Midland Hospice House. He was born March 5, 1951 in Topeka, the son of Byron Perry Brown, Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth (Dennis) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Raymond Richard "Dick" Brown; two sisters: Georgia A. Shaw and Sharon K. Shaw (Jerry); sister-in-law: Becky Brown; and a granddaughter: McKenzie Ann Webster Brown.
Larry served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a Disabled American Veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include a son: Jeremiah Brown of Glenwood Springs, CO; a granddaughter: Shaelyn Hazel Webster of Colorado; two sisters: Mary E. Willett (Raymond) of Topeka, and Martha Jo Pence (Lyle) of Topeka; and two brothers: Dennis J. Brown of Rifle, CO, and Byron P. Brown, Jr. (Loretta) of Topeka; sister-in-law: Mary Jean Brown of Topeka; brother-in-law: Donald Shaw of Tecumseh, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was cremated. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
Interment of cremains will be at 9:00 AM, Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Valley Falls Cemetery.
