OBITUARY: Larry David Linder
Larry David Linder, 67, Topeka, died Fri., Jan. 13, 2012, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born April 19, 1944, in Topeka, the son of Edmund D. and Bertha J. (Billings) Linder. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1962. Larry worked for Carling Black Label, Coors Distributing, and Underground Storage Medical Records. He was a Nascar fan and raced on the Topeka area dirt tracks in the 60's and 70's. His car number was 44. He was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church. Surviving are 6 brothers: Richard L.(Patty), Melvin D.(Lelia), Keith A.(Vickie), Marvin G. (Diana), Dale E.(Brenda), and Jerry W. Linder all of Topeka; 2 sisters: Shirley M. (Jerry) Kincaid of Berryton and Carol A. Tillman of Topeka;and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 6 siblings: Evelyn Phillips, Sandra K. Best, Charles E. Linder, Gary B. Linder, Kenneth D. Linder, and Betty Hewer. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wed., Jan. 18, 2012, at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Larry will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tues., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
