Larry Langley, 68, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Larry was born August 27th, 1955 in Topeka to Paul Langley Sr. and Vondalee (Mast) Langley.
He is survived by his wife Eileen (Simpson) Langley and his sons Donald and Alexander. Larry is also survived by his brother Paul Langley, Jr. (Debbie) Eskridge, Sisters Mary Applehans (Mark), Topeka, Sandra Langley, Topeka, and Cathy Buehler, (Greg), Mayetta, and many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
He also left behind his four footed children; dogs Maggie and Liza and cats Martha, Bootie, and Lucy.
Larry was a 1974 graduate of Royal Valley High School, Hoyt, Kansas.
After graduation, Larry was employed by McAbee Body Shop where he spent the majority of his career. He retired from Laird Noller Collision.
Larry won many "Best Paint" awards nationally for his own vehicles as well as cars he painted for other car enthusiasts. He was a true artist with a paint gun.
Larry was an avid cyclist. He enjoyed racing, and long solo rides. His best memories were when he, Donald and Alex rode in the BAK (Bike across Kansas) twice.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue in Topeka. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday the 16th at the funeral home. After a reception, interment will follow at Keene Cemetery near Eskridge around 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Bible Church, 4110 NW 62nd St., Topeka, KS 66618.
