OBITUARY: Larry Lee May
Larry Lee May, 69, Topeka, died Sun., March 13, 2011. He was born in Topeka, on Jan. 29, 1942, the son of Louis D. and Eva M. (Bloomquist) May. He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Larry retired from Stormont-Vail Hosp. He was married to Patti Rocha on Dec. 10, 1977, in Dover. She survives of the home. Also surviving are 2 daughters: Christie Jacobs and Tricia Rightmire; 2 sons: Jared May and Mario Rocha; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., March 18, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Entombment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery Mausoleum. Larry will lie in state from 3:00 to 8:30 PM Thurs. at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assn., 8700 Indian Creek Pkwy, Ste. 340, Overland Park, KS 66210.
