OBITUARY: Lila "Jeannine" Arganbright
Lila "Jeannine" Arganbright, 65, Topeka, died Sat., Aug. 5, 2006, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center. She was born July 30, 1941, at Topeka the daughter of Austin Derwin and Olive Josephine (Buckman) Furman.
Jeannine had lived in Topeka most of her life; living in Holton from 1976 to 1990. She had worked for the K.B.I. and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Holton.
She was married to Donald Dale Arganbright on Dec. 29, 1963, in Topeka. He survives of the home. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Luthi, in 1990.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Don, are a daughter: Amy E. Luthi of Fairdealing, MO; a son: Eric D. Arganbright of Wichita; 2 sisters: Marsha Lee Schrumpf of Thousand Oaks, CA and Tami Cheuvront of Harveyville; a brother: Dallas D. Furman of Kingsville, TX; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery. Jeannine will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Thurs., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
