Kurt B. Kurdziel, 49, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Kurdziel was a store manager at Venture for more than 10 years until the store closed. He later managed Office Max for three years and then a Dollar General store.
He was born Sept. 28, 1953, in Topeka, to Frank Bernard and Lois Marie Housknect Kurdziel. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1971.
Mr. Kurdziel was a member of Prairie View Country Club.
He married Diana L. Wilson on April 27, 1974, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jeffrey Kurdziel, Topeka; a daughter, Sara Kurdziel, Topeka; a brother, Ken Kurdziel, Newcastle, Okla.; and a sister, Karla Hughes, Topeka.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffrey and Sara Kurdziel Educational Fund, 4141 N.W. 43rd, Topeka, 66618.
