Krystopher Allen Michael Griffeth, 14, Topeka, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, in a car accident with his uncle, Robert Fairhurst. He was born Nov. 5, 1989, in Topeka, the son of R.D. and Christina (Rouviere) Griffeth. He currently was a student at Washburn Rural Middle School. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Christina and William Fairhurst, Topeka; his father and stepmother, R.D. Griffeth and Peggy Griffeth, Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers, William H. Fairhurst, Jr., Topeka, and Gaige Griffeth, Ft. Worth, Texas; a sister, Allison Griffeth, Fort Worth, Texas; maternal grandparents, Albert and Rose Rouviere, Topeka, and Michael and Debbie Adams, Spavinaw, Okla.; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Pam Griffeth, Topeka; stepgrandmother, Julie Fairhurst, Topeka; great-grandmother, Opal Rouviere, Topeka; great-grandmother, Ouida Griffeth, Barnard; great-grandparents, Joe Dean and Joanne Simmons, Beloit; and stepgreat-grandmother, Lucille Friesen, Topeka. Double funeral ser vices for Krystopher Griffeth and Robert Fairhurst will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Krystopher Griffeth will lie in state after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, where family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
