Kerry Bahner

Kerry "Cub" Bahner, 63, of Silver Lake, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009, at Midland Hospice. Kerry was born October 27, 1945, in Gilroy, California, to Jeffro and Ora Louisa Bahner. Kerry was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing cards, especially Ten Point Pitch.
Survivors include five children, Lisa (Daryl) Ludolph, Jeff (Heather) Bahner, Tara (Raul) Chacon, Michelle (Darrell) Crosswhite, and Beth (Paul) Valdivia; a brother, Jerrol Bahner; eight grandchildren; and two ex-wives, Theodora Maines and Sarah Bahner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Mr. Bahner will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2009, with the family receiving friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
