Kenneth Eugene Lauber, Jr., age 66, of Topeka, KS, passed away December 24th at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. He was born February 23, 1954, the son of Kenneth E. Lauber, Sr. and Marvel Darlene Lauber, Topeka, KS.
During his lifetime, he served in the military, served as a corrections officer at the Shawnee County Jail, and was a house manager at different homes around Topeka. He also loved talking to people about the LORD.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Hobert and Lula Melton, his parents, and brother Steve Lauber. Ken is survived by his wife Carrie; son Jared Lauber and wife Jennifer; one granddaughter, Alexis Lauber, two step granddaughters, Jessica and Jacquelyn Nance; and three stepchildren, Steven, Isaiah and Kayla Wendler. He is also survived by his uncles Floyd and Duane Lauber.
Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse on the Rock Church, 3860 S.E. California Avenue, Topeka, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse on the Rock, where Ken was a faithful and dedicated member for 17 years.
