and the American Defense Service Ribbon. He was a millman at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s Topeka
Plant for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the East Topeka United Methodist Church;
Philip Billard Post # 1650, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Oakland I.O.O.F. Lodge # 640; Shawnee
Encampment # 3; Flo Menninger Bible Study; Topeka Y.M.C.A.; Local #307 and Topeka Genealogical
Society.
