Obituary Notice: Kenneth Eugene Blush
Kenneth Eugene Blush, 70, of Corona, CA, passed away on December 15, 2010. He was born August 14, 1940 in Topeka, Kansas to Van and Viola Blush. He graduated from Highland Park High School and from Washburn University with a Bachelors in Physics and Astronomy. He moved to Corona to work for the Naval Ordnance Lab in Norco, CA in 1963. He worked there for 34 years. Through the years he enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, jeeping, bicycling, fishing, hiking, and repairing automobiles along with many other interests. He was part of the Chaparral motorcycle club and the Friends of the Mojave Road. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Corona. Ken was preceded in death by his wife Priscilla. Ken is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Michelle and Bill Stutsman of Corona, CA and Donna and Greg Burtnett of Santa Maria, CA. Along with five grandchildren he thoroughly enjoyed, Jaron and Nathan Burtnett, and Jesse, Sarah and Diana Stutsman.
A graveside ceremony will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Silver Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake, KS. The casket will be closed. Mr. Blush will lie in state from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka.
