Kelon O. Wolford, 96, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014.
He was born July 1, 1918, the son of Harry K. and Grace May (Craig) Wolford. He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Wolford was employed by Zercher Photo for 50 years retiring in 1986.
Kelon married Nina L. Kirkwood on June 20, 1940 in Perry, KS. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2014.
Survivors include his son, Terry Wolford, (Brenda Kuder), Ottawa, KS; and four half-siblings, Kenny, Larry and Jerry Wolford and Harriett Fyke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Jake and Billy Wolford and Winifred Webster; and a half-sister, Jean Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, to go in procession for a graveside service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka. Military honors will be conducted by a Fort Riley Funeral Detail.
