Keith A. Cushing

Keith A. Cushing, age 69, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Stormont Vail Hospital.  Keith was born July 15, 1950 in Topeka, the son of Melvin and Geraldine (Terry) Cushing.  He graduated from Topeka High School in 1968.  He married Sharon Goodman July 26, 1982.  Keith worked at Ohse Foods, Farmland and later at Del Monte Foods in Topeka in maintenance.  Keith enjoyed bowling, his drones/helicopters and RC boats.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Robin Roberts in 2002; two grandchildren, Courtney Hayworth and Chad Roberts; and a brother, Daryl Crumpton.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Jeff (Renay) Roberts and Chris (Heather) Cushing, both of Topeka; a daughter, Misty (Terry) Hayworth of Big Lake, MO; two brothers, Kent (Cindi) Cushing of Wichita and Scott (Becky) Cushing of Auburn; two sisters, Dana (Tom) Troutman of Liberty, MO and Cherie Sinor of Topeka; two sisters-in-law, Karon (Lonnie) Cook of Topeka and Marilyn Crumpton of St. Louis, MO;  10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  He will lie in state  Friday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com.
