OBITUARY: Kathryn Jane Roberts
Kathryn Jane Roberts, 77, Topeka, died Mon. morning, March 5, 2007, at her home. She was born Dec. 25, 1929, at Topeka, the daughter of Charles R. W. and Lucille (Moore) Stover.
Kathryn was a member of Women of the Moose and the auxilaries to Topeka North Post # 400 of the American Legion and Philip Billard Post # 1650, V.F.W.
She was married to Donald Dale Roberts on May 4, 1966, at Miami, OK. He survives of the home. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Lorelei Cutright, on March 28, 1956, and a son, Anthony L. Cutright, on March 1, 1999.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 sons: Russell "Sonny" Cutright (Sonja) of Shawnee and Jackie L. Roberts of Topeka; and 2 step-grandchildren.
Committal services will be at 10:00 AM, Thurs., March 8, 2007, at Rochester Cemetery. Kathryn will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wed., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 1440 Wakarusa Drive, Suite 900, Lawrence, KS 66049.
