OBITUARY: Kathleen Golder Bottom
Kathleen Louise Golder Bottom, 81, Grantville, died Sun., June 17, 2012, at her home. She was born July 24, 1930, at Auburn, the daughter of Roland J. and Edith C. (Romersa) Golder. Kathleen attended Grantville Grade School and graduated from Perry High School in 1949. She worked for Bell Telephone for a year and worked for the Kansas Department of Revenue for 18 years. She was a member of Restless Wheels Camping Club (Past Pres. and Sec.), HDU (Past Pres.), Grantville United Methodist Church, and Grantville Community Flower Club. Kathleen was married to Clifford J. "Bud" Bottom, Jr., on March 17, 1950, at Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Kenneth and John. Surviving are her husband: Bud of the home; 3 daughters: Linda Graves (Steve) of K.C., MO, Nancy Ohse (Dan Grace) of Topeka, and Kimberly Dennis (Joe) of Pittsburg; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Sat., June 23, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Private interment of cremains in Grantville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St., Ste. 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
