Kathleen "Kathy" Bryan, 74, Topeka, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Kathy was born January 19, 1947 in Chickasha, OK., the only child of Hobart and Agnes (Baum) Taylor.
She was a lifelong Topeka resident and graduated from Hayden High School in 1964.
She was employed by the State of Kansas, Social & Rehabilitation Services as a Case Manager for Adult Protective Services, retiring after 30 years of service. She jointly worked for Breakthrough House, Inc. as a House Manager, retiring after 35 years.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, Christmas shopping and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Kathy married Bob Bryan and they later divorced. Survivors are son, Sheldon (Tracy) Bryan, and their children, Mariah (Jory) Cleaver, Trenton Bryan; daughter, Janette Keil, and her children, Katie Keller, Jeremy, Jenna, Joey, and Jake Keil; daughter, Annette (Mark) Elder, all of Topeka; son, Shane (Stephanie) Bryan, and their children, Turner, Caden and Hadley Bryan; all of Omaha, NE.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all of her friends who provided comfort and support during her illness.
