Karl E. Smith

Karl Eugene Smith, 82, of Xenia, Ohio, formerly of Topeka, KS., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Hospitality Home East.   He was born May 19, 1934, in Lawrence, Kansas the son of Cecil Eugene and Mildred Gertrude Perkins Smith.

He is survived by a brother, Galen Smith and wife Claudia of Xenia, Ohio; niece, Shawna Marie Mikesell; nephew, David W. Smith and wife Amanda; great-nieces and nephews, Alaura Mikesell, Autumn smith, Garrett Smith and Dalton Smith; as well as many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Geraldine Ann Smith; two brothers, Lawrence Smith and Richard Smith.

Karl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 12 ^th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1120 S Detroit St., Xenia, Ohio, 45385.
