Karl Leon Peterson
Karl Leon Peterson, 64, of Cameron, MO, passed away on November 8, 2009. He was born in Topeka on May 2, 1945, the son of Frank and Bonnie (Wilson) Peterson. Karl was a graduate of Seaman High School and served in the Viet Nam War. He was a truck driver for Allied Automotive for 27 years.
He married Judy May Fee on December 5, 1994 in Ellsworth, WI, she survives. Also surviving are three daughters: Kerry Peterson, Karla Oligschlaeger (Kevin), and Kyndra Herrera (Gabe), all of Cheyenne, WY; three granddaughters: Klara, Jordyn, and Sophia; his father Frank Peterson and his mother Bonnie Peterson; two sisters: Beverly Williams (Stanley) and Kaye DeHart (Ronnie), and brother Larry Peterson (Theresa), all of Topeka. Karl was preceded in death by his brother Neil Peterson, his grandparents Walter and Ruby Wilson, Vic and Agnes Peterson.
Karl will lie in state after 3:00 PM on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, KS, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
