Karen Fern Snickles, 52, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007.
Karen was born July 16, 1954 in Topeka, the daughter of Robert Gene and Ethel Fern (Griffith) Snickles.
She graduated from Seaman High School in 1972. She was employed at St. Francis Health Center as a Nurses Aide until she became disabled.
She was an active member of Rolling Hills Christian Church. She had a deep love for her family, friends and church family.
Survivors include a brother, Gale Snickles and wife, Vicki; sisters, Kathy Smith and husband, Greg, Diana Hanna, all of Topeka and Nancy Snickles, Dodge City; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Rolling Hills Christian Church, 4530 NW Hiawatha Place. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Karen will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rolling Hills Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Rolling Hills Christian Church.
