Karen Mccarter
Karen Ann McCarter, 49, Topeka died Friday, July 1, 2005. She was born July 15, 1955 in Topeka, KS., the daughter of Arthur "Bill" W. and Shirley A. McCarter.
Karen graduated from Topeka High School. She worked in Daycare for several years before retiring in May of 2005.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann McCarter, October 7, 2003.
Survivors include: a daughter, Morgan McCarter, Topeka; father Bill McCarter, Topeka; two sisters, Linda Jane Baxley, Springfield, OR; Carolyn Sue McCart, Topeka; two brothers: William Terry McCarter, Topeka; and Arthur Brett McCarter, Topeka.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m.Wed. July 6,2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
