OBITUARY: Mrs. Karen Marie Buscher
Mrs. Karen Marie Buscher, 65, Silver Lake died Sun., Jan. 8, 2006, at Midland Hospice House. She was born July 30, 1940, at Hastings, NE the daughter of William D. and Marie (Doyen) Walker.
From 1985 to 2000 she worked at Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry; 2000 to 2004 for several law firms; and retired from Citizens Credit. She was a member of the Auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard American Legion Post # 31 of Rossville.
Karen was married to Robert E. Buscher in Jan. 1958, at Hastings, NE.
She will be greatly missed by her family: her husband, Robert, of the home; a daughter: Lori Fieger, of Topeka; a son, Steven Buscher, of Ozawkie; and three grandchildren: Jacob Buscher of Ozawkie, Jesse Kealy of Topeka, and Miles Frye of Ozawkie.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 12, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
Karen will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. Wed. until service time at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
