OBITUARY: Julius Fred "Linc" Lincoln
Julius Fred Lincoln, 74, Topeka, died Tues., Nov. 29, 2011, at his home. He was born Oct. 31, 1937, in Topeka, the son of Herman H. and Hanna M. (Carey) Lincoln. Julius attended Topeka High School, K.U., and K-State. Surviving are his children: Julie & Steve Cain, Mike & Jill Lincoln, Steve & Lisa Lincoln, and Cindy & Robert Peck; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and companion: Irene Yost. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., Dec. 2, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Interment in Meriden Cemetery. Julius will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 8:00 to 9:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604.
