Julia Mae Hasty
Julia Mae Hasty, 90, Ozawkie, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Kelly House, Meriden. She was born February 11, 1925, at Burbank, OK, the daughter of Raymond and Viola (Pearson) Westbrook.
She attended school at Meriden. She retired from the State of Kansas, Board of Health in February, 1985.
Julia was married to Donald Hamilton Hasty on April 8, 1940, at Platte City, MO. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1994.
Surviving are two sons: Allen Hamilton "Pete" Hasty (Patricia Eagles) of Perry and Ronald E. Hasty (Cindy L.) of Meriden; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Meriden Cemetery.
Julie will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wednesday, at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
