Judith "Judy" Karen Stuewe, 77, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022.
She was born July 17, 1945, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Russell and Lois Loveland. She graduate from Highland Park High School in 1963.
Judy worked for Duffens Optical and went on to work at Topeka Income Tax as a secretary for 15 years.
In her spare time, you could find Judy out in her flower bed. She enjoyed working out in the garden, especially with her hydrangeas and mums. Judy was an avid collector of frogs - enjoying her collection both inside and outside of her house. Animals brought joy to Judy's life, treasuring any and all animals. She also enjoyed reading Stephen King books; quite possibly having read them all.
Judy was united in marriage on May 11, 1968 to Larry Stuewe at St. John's Lutheran Church. To this union were their two children, Chant and Carrie.
She is survived by her loving husband Larry; children Chant (Robyn) Stuewe and Carrie Miller; grandchildren; Kristen Miller, Stephanie Miller, Luke Stuewe, Lexi Stuewe; one great granddaughter, Charly.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Parker-Price 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Parker-Price. Interment will follow at Keene Cemetery in Eskridge, Kansas.
Judy's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
